Riley Penn was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run and only two hits while striking out seven over five innings pitched. Penn was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring three runs and stealing three bases while going 1-for-2.

Meanwhile, Shaker Heights was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 6-2 to Medina.
University School's win bumped their record up to 15-4. As for Shaker Heights, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-11.
Everything went University School's way against Shaker Heights in their previous matchup back in April of 2023 as University School made off with a 13-6 victory.
