Volleyball Recap: Armada Comes Up Short

Armada was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Croswell-Lexington Pioneers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Pioneers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 on Saturday.

Armada's loss dropped their record down to 5-24. As for Croswell-Lexington, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 26-24 record this season.

Croswell-Lexington didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Sandusky on the 18th. Hopefully Armada paid attention to the Pioneers' contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Pioneers at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
