Baseball Recap: Wahkiakum's Undefeated Season over After Four Games

After flying high against Ocosta last Saturday, Wahkiakum came back down to earth. Wahkiakum came up short against the Naselle Comets on Tuesday, falling 12-2. The loss was the Mules' first of the season.

Wahkiakum saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Rusty Morrison, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Morrison is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's snagged at least one every time he's taken the field this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Wahkiakum fell to 3-1.

Coming up, Naselle will be playing in front of their home fans against Raymond/South Bend at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Wahkiakum will be paying especially close attention to Naselle's match: after Naselle faces off against Ocosta, they'll take on Wahkiakum again at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
