Basketball Recap: Hudson's Luck Changes for the Better on Tuesday

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Grundy Center, Hudson was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They snuck past the Columbus Sailors with a 46-41 victory. The win was some much needed relief for the Pirates as it spelled an end to their eight-game losing streak.

Hudson's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-9. As for Columbus, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hudson will head out to face off against AGWSR at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Columbus, they will head out on the road to challenge Aplington-Parkersburg at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. Aplington-Parkersburg knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past ten matchups -- so hopefully Columbus likes a good challenge.
