There's no place like home for St. Patrick, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 38-21 win over the St. Stanislaus Rock-a-Chaws on Friday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Fighting Irish considering their seven-point performance the matchup before.

Despite the loss, St. Stanislaus had strong showings from Jayvien Thompson, who rushed for 74 yards and a pair of scores, and Christian Haas, who picked up 92 receiving yards. Tripp Lee got in on the action too, returning a kick for a touchdown.

St. Patrick's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-5. As for St. Stanislaus, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-7.

St. Patrick wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 42-7 loss against Tylertown on the 24th. As for St. Stanislaus, they have also already played their next contest, a 42-7 defeat against Presbyterian Christian on the 24th.
