Recap: Cosby Titans vs. Hanover Hawks
On Saturday, Cosby didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Hanover, but they still walked away with a 39-34 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Cosby.
Cosby got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Hailey Schaaff out in front who scored 9 points. Jenaya Gallardo was another key contributor, scoring 8 points.
Cosby now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Hanover, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cosby will take on L.C. Bird at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. L.C. Bird presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Cosby in Virginia (L.C. Bird is ranked third, while Cosby is ranked 35th). As for Hanover, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Clover Hill at 7:30 p.m. Hopefully Clover Hill focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up eight on Thursday.
