Soccer Game Preview: Maple Valley vs. Bronson

The Maple Valley Lions will venture away from home to square off against the Bronson Vikings on Wednesday. Maple Valley will be strutting in after a victory while Bronson will be coming in after a loss.

Maple Valley will roll into the matchup after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up one goal on Saturday, then bounced right back against Quincy on Monday. The Lions blew past the Orioles 5-2. Considering Maple Valley's offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Meanwhile, Bronson didn't have quite enough to beat Stockbridge on Monday and fell 2-1. Bronson have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Maple Valley's win ended a seven-match drought at home and bumped them up to 4-12-1. As for Bronson, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-11-1.
