Softball Game Preview: Midway Green Wave vs. Rockwood Tigers

Midway is on a six-game streak of home losses dating back to last season, and Rockwood a 13-game streak of away losses also dating back to last season. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Thursday. The Midway Green Wave will be playing at home against the Rockwood Tigers at 6:35 p.m. Midway has given up an average of 10.9 runs per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Wednesday, Midway came up short against Greenback and fell 18-13.

Kyker Johnston was cooking despite her team's loss, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with three RBI, one run, and one double. Addison Armes was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two RBI and one run.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Rockwood duked it out with Sale Creek on Wednesday. The Tigers came up short against the Panthers, falling 14-2.
