Noli Indian triumphant thanks to a strong effort from Caden Almanza

Recap: Noli Indian Braves vs. Weaver Monarchs
After losing to the Weaver Monarchs the last time they met, the Noli Indian Braves decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Noli Indian strolled past Weaver with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 45-27. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Noli Indian.
Noli Indian can attribute much of their success to Caden Almanza, who scored 25 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Andrew Salgado, who scored nine points.
Noli Indian's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Weaver, they bumped their record down to 1-3 with that defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.
Noli Indian will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Palm Valley at 3:15 p.m. Hopefully Palm Valley focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up six on Thursday. Weaver will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Desert Chapel at 3:30 p.m. on January 16th.
