Volleyball Recap: West Salem Comes Up Short

West Salem was the 2-0 winner over Foothill when they last played one another back in September of 2017, but their luck changed this time around. The Titans fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. The Titans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, West Salem sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 21-25, 15-9.

West Salem's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Foothill, they pushed their record up to 4-2 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

West Salem has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Bear River on the 30th. As for Foothill, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Castro Valley on the 30th.
