Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Guilderland). They really took it to the Schenectady Patriots for the full four quarters, racking up a 74-17 victory. With the Flying Dutchmen ahead 38-8 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Guilderland to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jayde Caark, who dropped a double-double with 13 points and ten rebounds. Caark is becoming a predictor of Guilderland's success: when she posts at least eight boards the team is undefeated (and 6-8 when she doesn't). Another player making a difference was Christina Williams, who went 5-for-12 en route to 13 points in addition to six assists and six rebounds.

Guilderland was working as a unit and finished the game with 20 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Guilderland now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Schenectady, their loss was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-13.

Guilderland didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 61-37 win against Ballston Spa on the 12th. As for Schenectady, they will head out to take on Shaker at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Shaker's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four games.
