Volleyball Recap: Pell City Takes a Loss

Pell City was the 3-0 winner over Ramsay when they last played one another two weeks ago, but their luck changed this time around. The Panthers fell just short of the Rams by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Pell City sadly dropped the once that decided the match. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 21-25, 15-10.

Pell City's defeat dropped their record down to 12-16. As for Ramsay, their victory ended a four-match drought on the road and puts them at 8-10.

Coming up, Pell City will welcome Shades Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Ramsay has already played their next match (against Priceville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
