Basketball Game Preview: Poway Titans vs. Arbor View Aggies

The Poway Titans will take on the Arbor View Aggies in a holiday battle at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Poway knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven games -- so hopefully Arbor View likes a good challenge.

On Tuesday, Poway was able to grind out a solid victory over Ramona, taking the game 72-64. Given the Titans' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 93rd, while the Bulldogs are ranked 292nd) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Arbor View suffered their biggest loss since January 13th on Friday. They lost 69-45 to Las Vegas. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the Aggies' biggest loss of the season was also their lowest-scoring.

Arbor View's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Poway, their win bumped their record up to 7-2.
