The St. Clair Saints will square off against the Marysville Vikings at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. St. Clair is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.5 runs per game this season.

St. Clair is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Michigan's top teams: Saline, who was ranked 15th at the time (St. Clair was ranked 14th). The Saints and the Hornets finished up their game with a 3-3 tie on Saturday. The Saints' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Marysville came out on top against Algonac on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive five-run fifth inning. The Vikings walked away with a 6-2 victory over the Muskrats. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Vikings.

Marysville's win bumped their record up to 8-1. St. Clair's tie makes their record 11-2-1 this season.

St. Clair came up short against Marysville when the teams last played back in May of 2024, falling 10-5. Can the Saints avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
