Volleyball Game Preview: Trinity Wolves vs. Durham Trojans + Official Tickets

The Trinity Wolves will head out on the road to take on the Durham Trojans at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Trinity is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Etna just ended the team's three-match winning streak on Thursday. They fell 3-1 to the Lions.

While Trinity had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-18, 21-25, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Durham suffered their biggest defeat since November 5, 2024 on Thursday. They came up short against East Nicolaus, falling 3-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Trojans haven't been shut out since back in September.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-19, 25-15.

Durham's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 11-1 and their overall record down to 28-5. As for Trinity, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-12.

Trinity suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Durham when the teams last played back in August. Can the Wolves avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
