Baseball Recap: Waterloo East Comes Up Short

Waterloo East lost against Ames on June 4th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Trojans fell 12-9 to the Little Cyclones. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Waterloo East's loss dropped their record down to 6-14-1. As for Ames, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-10 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Ames beat Waterloo East by a score of 13-1 later that day.
