Soccer Recap: Sharpstown Find Success

Sharpstown kept a clean sheet against Westbury on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Huskies, sneaking past 1-0. Sharpstown's winning goal came courtesy of Ana Bello.

Sharpstown has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 16 goals over those six matches. As for Westbury, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.

Coincidentally, Sharpstown and Westbury will both be playing Galena Park the next time they take the pitch. The Apollos will head out to face the Yellowjackets at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Huskies will host them at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
