Volleyball Recap: Delphi Community Takes a Loss

Delphi Community was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 23rd straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Tri-County Cavaliers, falling 3-0. If the Oracles were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Cavaliers when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-18, 25-17.

Alissa Miller paced Delphi Community's offense, picking up five kills. Miller got some help from Abby Brown and her seven assists.

Delphi Community's defeat dropped their record down to 0-16. As for Tri-County, they pushed their record up to 8-7 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

Delphi Community wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Northwestern on the 13th. As for Tri-County, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Clinton Prairie on the 15th.
