Basketball Game Preview: Gatesville Hornets vs. Austin Royals HomeSchool Royals

Having just played yesterday, the Gatesville Hornets will jump right back in to play the Austin Royals HomeSchool Royals at 11:00 a.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Gatesville is headed into Friday's match hungry for a win as their strong season has now been derailed by two straight defeats. They fell 55-44 to Savio on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Austin Royals HomeSchool suffered their biggest loss since February 8th on Thursday. They were outmatched by Jarrell and fell 74-40. While losing is never fun, the Royals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 733rd, while the Cougars are ranked 304th).

Austin Royals HomeSchool's defeat dropped their record down to 13-11. As for Gatesville, their loss dropped their record down to 8-4.
