Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Amesbury). They came out on top in a nail-biter against Pentucket Regional on Monday, sneaking past 3-2.

Amesbury's win bumped their record up to 3-6-2. As for Pentucket Regional, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-4-3.

Coming up, Amesbury will challenge North Reading at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday. North Reading's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Pentucket Regional, they will welcome Georgetown at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pentucket Regional will be up against Georgetown's rather soft defense (which has allowed three goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
