Baseball Recap: Palisades Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Palisades can now relate to. They lost 6-0 to the Palmerton Blue Bombers on Tuesday. The shutout was out of character for the Pirates seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in April.

Palisades has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-11 record this season. As for Palmerton, their win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-7.

As of now, neither Palisades nor the Blue Bombers have any future games scheduled.
