Baseball Recap: Charyl Stockwell Preparatory Academy Takes a Loss

Charyl Stockwell Preparatory Academy had lost three straight on the road, but on Saturday they dropped down to 6-17-1 to make it four. They came up short against the Plymouth Christian Academy Eagles, falling 15-2. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, with their most recent defeat being a 15-0 loss on May 14th.

Charyl Stockwell Preparatory Academy saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cole Dryer, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

As for Plymouth Christian Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 27 of their last 28 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 34-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.9 runs on average over those games.

On Plymouth Christian Academy's side, Luke Paryaski spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on five hits. Paryaski has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than two walks in ten consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Carter Dattillio, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since May 2nd. Coltin Belanger was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI.

As of now, neither Charyl Stockwell Preparatory Academy nor Plymouth Christian Academy have any future games scheduled.
