Football Recap: Colton Tucker and Fred Aldridge Secure Win for Demopolis + How To Watch

Demopolis had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 35.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. Everything went their way against the Aliceville Yellowjackets as they made off with a 34-12 victory. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Tigers' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Alabama football rankings (they are ranked 92nd, while the Yellowjackets are ranked 229th).

A big part of Demopolis' win came down to the chemistry between Colton Tucker and his top target Fred Aldridge. Tucker threw for 172 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only 15 passes while Aldridge picked up 121 receiving yards and two scores.

Demopolis now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Aliceville, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Demopolis will host Shelby County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers will be up against the Wildcats' rather soft defense (which has allowed 25.83 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Aliceville, they will square off against Greene County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
