Basketball Game Preview: Plaza Heights Christian Academy vs. Kingsville Tigers

Plaza Heights Christian Academy will head out on the road to face off against the Kingsville Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Plaza Heights Christian Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52.4 points per game this season.

Last Saturday, Plaza Heights Christian Academy strolled past DeLaSalle Charter with points to spare, taking the game 68-50.

Plaza Heights Christian Academy can attribute much of their success to Luke Jones, who dropped a double-double on 28 points and 11 rebounds, and Remi Schieber, who almost dropped a double-double on 27 points and nine boards. Jones' afternoon made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Ikaika Greene, who posted five points.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Kingsville faced off against Drexel on Monday. Kingsville wrapped up 2024 with a 64-46 victory over Drexel.

Kingsville's win was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-2. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.8 points per game. As for Plaza Heights Christian Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.
