Bethlehem's loss ends five-game winning streak on the road

Recap: Bethlehem Eagles/Banshees vs. Campbellsville Eagles

The Bethlehem Eagles/Banshees were the 78-65 winner over the Campbellsville Eagles when they last played one another back in February of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Bethlehem took a 67-50 bruising from Campbellsville on Monday. Bethlehem has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Keondre Weathers was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 14 points and 12 rebounds for Campbellsville. Weathers hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for three straight games. Keaton Hord was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with three steals.

Bethlehem's loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-9. As for Campbellsville, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 9-13 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bethlehem will take on Larue County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Larue County presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Bethlehem in Kentucky (Larue County is ranked 46th, while Bethlehem is ranked 151st). As for Campbellsville, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on Taylor County at 7:30 p.m. on February 9th. Hopefully Campbellsville focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up ten on Monday.
