Football Recap: Sports Leadership & Management Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Sports Leadership & Management's offense. They were beaten by the Centennial Eagles 27-0 on Tuesday.

Centennial can attribute much of their success to Miley McCarty, who threw for 116 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only six passes, and also rushed for 43 yards. What's more, McCarty posted two passing touchdowns, the most she's had since back in February.

Sports Leadership & Management's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Centennial, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-7.

Coming up, Sports Leadership & Management will take on Oxbridge Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The ThunderWolves' defense has only allowed 5.1 points per game this season, so the Cobras' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Centennial, they have already played their next game, a 26-0 win against Tradition Prep on the 9th.
