Softball Recap: Bingham Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Bingham can now relate to. They came up short against the Riverton Silverwolves on Tuesday, falling 15-4. The defeat continues a trend for the Miners in their meetings with the Silverwolves: they've now lost five in a row.

Tatum Ewing was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. She is on a roll when it comes to home runs, as she's now launched at least one in each of the last six games she's played. Another player making a difference was Kavamahea Haiola, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Bingham's loss dropped their record down to 16-14-1. As for Riverton, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 25-3.

Bingham wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 4-3 victory against Copper Hills on the 19th. As for Riverton, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 7-4 win against Davis on the 19th.
