There's no place like home for Rolesville, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Sanderson Spartans on Monday. The Rams have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Spartans, too.

Rolesville walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the third set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-20, 25-8.

Loss or not, Sanderson got some senior leadership from Mireya Chavez and Ryleigh Roche. Chavez had 20 digs and one assist, while Roche had eight digs. Chavez has been hot, having posted 13 or more digs the last five times she's played.

The victory got Rolesville back to even at 1-1. As for Sanderson, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-2.

Coming up, Sanderson will face off against Broughton at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Rolesville will be paying especially close attention to the Spartans' matchup: after the Spartans face off against the Capitals, they'll take on Rolesville again at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
