Volleyball Recap: Limon Comes Up Short

Limon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Wiggins Tigers, falling 3-0. If the Badgers were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Tigers when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The final score came out to 25-5, 25-16, 25-13.

Despite the loss, Limon still got an impressive performance from Chloe Stone, who had 16 digs and two aces. Stone is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last six games she's played.

Limon's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Wiggins, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-3.

Limon has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against Lamar on the 4th. As for Wiggins, they will head out to challenge Merino at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
