The Stone Tomcats will head out on the road to take on the St. Stanislaus Rock-a-Chaws at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Neither Stone nor St. Stanislaus posted many points in their last games, so it might be the defenses that decide this one.

Stone's offense might be in the hot seat on Friday considering what happened against George County on Friday. They took a 13-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rebels. The Tomcats just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Meanwhile, St. Stanislaus also failed to score in their most recent game. They were outmatched by Mobile Christian and fell 52-0.

St. Stanislaus' loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Stone, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

Everything came up roses for Stone against St. Stanislaus in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 32-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tomcats since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
