The Harriman Blue Devils will square off against the Roane County Yellowjackets at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Harriman has struggled recently with nine losses in a row, while Roane County will arrive with three straight victories.

Meanwhile, Roane County made easy work of Midway on Thursday and carried off a 13-1 win. That looming 13-1 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Yellowjackets yet this season.
Isaiah Harrill was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one hit in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.
In other pitching news, Landon Riter looked comfortable as he struck out six batters over four innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits.
Back at the plate, James Lane was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-2. Another player making a difference was Brighton Presley, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.
Roane County always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .531. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .500 or higher in three consecutive matches.
Roane County's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-3-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Harriman, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-7.
