Volleyball Recap: Picayune Comes Up Short

Picayune lost against George County back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Maroon Tide fell 2-0 to the Rebels. The Maroon Tide have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Picayune's loss dropped their record down to 4-11. As for George County, they are on a roll lately: they've won 17 of their last 20 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-9 record this season.

Picayune will be playing at home against Petal at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for George County, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Our Lady Academy on the 20th.
