Baseball Recap: Stone Bridge Takes a Loss

Stone Bridge saw some tournament action on Wednesday. They lost 14-4 to the James Island Trojans. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Stone Bridge's loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for James Island, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-3 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Stone Bridge will venture away from home to face off against Lightridge at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The game will give the Bulldogs their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for James Island, they will head out on the road to take on Ashley Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The last four games the Swamp Foxes have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
