  Thomas Gonnella was a standout: he scored three  runs and  stole three bases while going 2-for-2.  Cole Carroll was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs while going 4-for-4.
 Meanwhile, Bayside got themselves on the board against Cocoa on Wednesday, but Cocoa never followed suit. Everything went their way against the Tigers as they made off with  an  8-0 win. Winning may never get old, but Bayside sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
 Melbourne Central Catholic has  been performing  well recently as they've  won five of their last six contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record  this season. As for Bayside, their victory bumped their record up to 6-11.
 Melbourne Central Catholic was able to grind out a solid  win over Bayside when the teams last played  back in March, winning  5-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Melbourne Central Catholic since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
