Softball Recap: Shepherd Bluejays vs. Ogemaw Heights Falcons

After losing to Ogemaw Heights the last time they met, Shepherd decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Bluejays walked away with an 11-6 victory over the Falcons on Tuesday. The win was nothing new for the Bluejays as they're now sitting on three straight.

Lylah Curtiss spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned (and two unearned) runs on five hits.

On the hitting side, Leela Engelhardt was incredible, going 3-for-5 with four RBI and two doubles. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Avery Veale, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run.
