Basketball Recap: Woodward-Granger Comes Up Short

Woodward-Granger lost against Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Woodward-Granger Hawks lost to Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center at home by a 52-35 margin. While losing is never fun, the Hawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Iowa basketball rankings (they are ranked 164th, while Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center are ranked 37th).

Woodward-Granger dropped their record down to 7-6 with the loss, which was their third straight at home. As for Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-1.
