Anthony Wayne came tearing into Monday's match with 12 straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Whitmer Panthers 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 two weeks ago.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-5, 25-14.

Leah Pike paced Anthony Wayne's offense, picking up 14 kills. Pike got some help from Alayna Rieger and her 22 assists. Mallory Pike controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Anthony Wayne's record is now 17-1. As for Whitmer, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 10-9.

Anthony Wayne wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Southview on the 2nd. As for Whitmer, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Findlay on the 30th.
