After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Osage, Waukon was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the New Hampton Chickasaws 36-7. The win continues a trend for the Indians in their matchups with the Chickasaws: they've now won nine in a row.

Waukon now has a winning record of 4-3. As for New Hampton, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Waukon will take on rival Crestwood at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, New Hampton is set to square off against their familiar foe North Fayette Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
