Basketball Recap: Atlantic Christian Comes Up Short

Atlantic Christian was the 51-38 winner over Delaware County Christian when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Atlantic Christian Cougars took a blow against the Delaware County Christian Knights on Saturday, falling 49-21.

Despite the loss, Atlantic Christian still got an impressive performance from Gianna Flynn, who posted 16 points. That was a full 76.2% of Atlantic Christian's points, marking the fourth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.

Atlantic Christian now has a losing record at 1-2-1. As for Delaware County Christian, the win keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Atlantic Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 60-28 victory against Calvary Academy on the 19th. Delaware County Christian has also already played their next game, a 60-54 win against Renaissance Academy on the 17th.
