Volleyball Recap: Carey Triumphs

The Carey Panthers were able to grind out a solid win over the Leadore Mustangs on Tuesday, taking the game 3-1.

Emily Dahlstrom paced Carey's offense, picking up 21 kills. Dahlstrom got some help from Andie Simpson and her 12 assists. Finally, Dahlstrom was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high 11 blocks.

The victory got Carey back to even at 2-2. As for Leadore, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Looking ahead, Carey will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Richfield at 7:00 p.m. Leadore has already played their next contest (against Challis), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
