Restoration Academy came into Monday's contest having lost 14 straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They simply couldn't be stopped on Monday as they easily beat the Banks Academy Jets 65-8. Restoration Academy's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Restoration Academy found their leader in sophomore Leah Thomas, who posted 19 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Thomas has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Alesha Curtis, who earned nine points.

Restoration Academy's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-11. As for Banks Academy, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Edgewood Academy the next time they take the court. Banks Academy will head out to face Edgewood Academy at 6:00 p.m. on January 21st, while Restoration Academy will host them at 6:00 p.m. on January 23rd.
