Basketball Game Preview: Mount Judea Eagles vs. Oark Hornets

Mount Judea is 2-7 against Oark since October of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Mount Judea Eagles will head out on the road to square off against the Oark Hornets at 5:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 55-13, which was the final score in Mount Judea's tilt against Kingston on Wednesday. The matchup marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, Oark was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They were outmatched by Scranton and fell 55-6. While losing is never fun, the Hornets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arkansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 268th, while the Rockets are ranked 84th).

Mount Judea's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Oark, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-11.

Mount Judea skirted past Oark 48-45 when the teams last played on December 3rd. The rematch might be a little tougher for Mount Judea since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
