The loss was their first at home , dropping their record down to 3-2. As for Buckingham Browne & Nichols, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 3-2.

Everything went St. Mark's way against Buckingham Browne & Nichols when the teams last played back in April of 2024, as St. Mark's made off with an 11-5 victory.
