Basketball Recap: Oldham County Comes Up Short

Oldham County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 45-37 hit to the loss column at the hands of the North Oldham Mustangs. The Colonels were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Mustangs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2025.

Oldham County's loss dropped their record down to 8-6. As for North Oldham, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 13-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Oldham County will challenge Anderson County at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for North Oldham, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Spencer County at 6:00 p.m.
