Volleyball Recap: Greenbrier Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Lauren Wanamaker and Sam Wanamaker

Greenbrier was the 2-0 winner over Effingham County when they last played one another back in August, but their luck changed this time around. The Wolfpack fell 2-0 to the Rebels on Thursday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-20.

Despite the loss, Greenbrier had strong showings from Sam Wanamaker, who had nine digs and two assists, and Lauren Wanamaker, who had three digs and one assist.

Greenbrier's defeat dropped their record down to 18-13. As for Effingham County, their victory bumped their record up to 13-17.

Coincidentally, Greenbrier and Effingham County will both be playing Savannah Arts Academy the next time they take the court. The Wolfpack will head out to face the Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Rebels will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
