Soccer Recap: Virginia High Comes Up Short

Virginia High was the 3-1 winner over Marion when they last played one another back in April, but their luck changed this time around. The Bearcats came up short against the Scarlet Hurricanes on Thursday, falling 4-0. Virginia High have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Virginia High's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Marion, the victory got them back to even at 6-6.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Virginia High is set to square off against their familiar foe Tazewell at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Marion will challenge rival Lebanon on Tuesday.
