Basketball Recap: North Forney Comes Up Short

North Forney lost against Tyler Legacy back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The North Forney Falcons took a hard 43-28 fall against the Tyler Legacy Raiders. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 385th, while the Raiders are ranked 61st).

North Forney's defeat dropped their record down to 10-14. As for Tyler Legacy, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 25-4.

The future could be bright for both North Forney and Tyler Legacy: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. North Forney will look to extend Rockwall-Heath's six-game losing streak when the meet at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Similarly, Tyler Legacy will try to hand Royse City their fourth-straight loss when the two meet at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
