Caleb McCauley gave up the fewest earned runs he has since back in March on Thursday. He was unstoppable, tossing two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He is becoming a predictor of Elkins's success: when he allows at most one earned run the team is 2-1 (and 5-17 when he doesn't).

Coming up, McCauley and Elkins will challenge Fairmont Senior at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Tigers have some work to do to even out the 2-7 series between these two since April of 2019, but a win here would be a good start.
