Baseball Recap: Regina Drops Highest Score of Season Against Jefferson

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Regina). They blew past the Jefferson Yellowjackets 16-1 on Friday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Regals needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.

Regina's victory bumped their record up to 13-2. As for Jefferson, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-15 record this season.

Regina wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, an 8-5 win against St. Albert on the 14th. As for Jefferson, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 10-0 loss against Waukee on the 14th.
