After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Stockdale, Lompoc was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 7-1 margin over the Templeton Eagles. The win was some much needed relief for the Braves as it spelled an end to their seven-game losing streak.

Lily Drysol spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on three hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Lompoc got a big performance out of Lili Ortega, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI and two doubles. That's the most RBI Ortega has posted since back in March of 2025. Another player making a difference was Karen Nanclares, who went 3-for-4 with one home run.

Lompoc was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .410. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Templeton only posted a batting average of .130.

Lompoc's victory bumped their record up to 8-11. As for Templeton, they dropped their record down to 4-15-1 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.
